First of all this post is just to update all to where i've been. I went undiagnosed for a while with an inflamed liver which turned out to be Glandular Fever. I was hospitalised and only just come out but under careful scrutiny. I've gotta say I've been through some major illness in the past but this is one I wouldn't like to go through ever again. Even the GP said to me it is a disease you hope to catch at the age of 4 when it doesn't really matter. But at my age it takes on a more verocious and more difficult approach to the bodies immune system.
So all in all, I got released with some meds to take and now I find the long haul to recovery. This is one disease that there is no cure for. Just gotta let your body sweat it out. I think I'm over the acute part and now just having to deal with the downside which is the slow recovery. I feel exhausted even having typed this out. Currently I go in and out of bad mood swings or just don't want anyone to be around me as I need space. Its kinda like getting claustrophobic for a brief moment and you just want people to step away. Got nothing to do with them and they all have found me a little unbearable, but they do realise it is just the effect of the illness and won't last. I think it comes down to just being plain tired. I can't get a good long sleep. But now I'm home I won't have snoring neighbours or nursing staff waking me to extract more blood.
I just want to return to normal, is that much to ask?
To the know-me's, fear not. My humour is still there and I am getting better daily. If I seem cranky or just a little weirds I apologise and blame someone else entirely. And thank you for being understanding during this bastard of a time.
Egad. Just read your blog today. Hope you are recovering well. You better do! N and I are looking forward to seeing you & Z in Dec.
